Do I have to be an IIE member to come to the conference?

NO. Anyone how is interested is welcome to attend the conference. We hope that by the end of the conference anyone who is not a member will see the benefits of being a national member.

What is the dress attire for the weekend?

The attire for the weekend will be buisness casual attire. The attire for the banquet on Saturday will be cocktail attire (dress, suit, etc.) The attire for the Friday night social event is casual.

What else should you bring with you?

Bring at least 15 copies of you resume, especially if you are interested
in the career event on Saturday.


How will you know where to go to start the conference?

Registration will be held at the Student Union. Directions from the hotel to the Union will be posted on the directions page of this website.


Should you bring any extra money?

The only events you will have to pay for are the social event Friday night as well as any other unscheudled activities that your group wishes to take part in.


Who will you send your technical paper presentation too?

Please look at the registration page of this website for information on the technical paper competition.

Do you have to stay for the closing ceremony?

No, you don't have to stay for the closing ceremony but it is strongly
recommended. We will be choosing the host for the conference in 2011.

Where is the social event on Friday night?

We will be holding the social event at Jillian's in downtown Albany. We will provide more information when you arrive.
