Parking on campus is a bit tricky and can be confusing. There is free parking on Friday after five as well as the rest of the weekend. When you arrive to campus on Friday afternoon you will need to stop by the visitors center and pick up a parking pass for each car. The cost is $7 per car. Directions from the hotel to the visitors center follow.

Directions from the hotel to the RPI visitors and public safety center

Take a left turn out the the hotel parking lot onto 4th St (This exit is behind the hotel and most likely not the same entrance that you used when arriving to the hotel). At the light, make a right turn onto Federal St. Continue through the next light while staying to the left. Continue up the hill (becomes Peoples Ave.) At the second light, make a right turn onto 15th st. You will see the large granite Rensselaer sign and flags at the intersection of 15th and Sage Ave. Continue on 15th st. past this intersection, and drive under the pedestrian bridge. Take a left right after the bridge and park at the Public Safety and parking office. Go in the office and purchase a parking pass and they will direct you where to park.
