Applying ergonomics and engineering to manual material handling activities

According to research studies, injuries for most companies likely result from poor ergonomics, with the majority coming from manual material handling tasks. If ergonomic-related injuries do not account for 50 percent of your total injuries, they likely account for more than 50 percent of the costs.
