The first keynote speaker at AEC 2012 was Don Chaffin, Ph.D., P.E., C.P.E., professor emeritus of industrial and operations engineering and biomedical engineering at the University of Michigan. Among the many topics in his presentation, Chaffin discussed the need for the creation of a digital manufacturing infrastructure.
