Susan Murphey is co-chair of the Applied Ergonomics Conference Networking Committee and principal of Essential WorkWellness, an ergonomics consulting firm. She was named 2011 Ergonomics Professional of the Year by the Puget Sound Chapter of the Human Factors & Ergonomics Society. She also co-wrote the Industry Guidelines for the Prevention of Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders for Sonography and provided testimony in 2000 and 2001 for the OSHA hearing on occupational ergonomics.
Mike Lampl, C.P.E., is an ergonomics technical advisor for Ohio BWC’s Division of Safety & Hygiene. He has a B.S. in industrial and systems engineering from The Ohio State University and an M.S. in occupational health from the Medical College of Ohio. Lampl has worked in the occupational safety and health field since 1993. He is a member of the Applied Ergonomics Conference Planning Committee and co-chair of the Networking Committee.
