  On behalf of all the 2010 Institute Of Industrial Engineers South Jersey – Delaware Valley Professional Chapter (IIESJDVPC) No. 132 Officers, Directors, Members and myself, 2010 President, we welcome you to our web site. This is the official web site for your local IIE Chapter information.

  Founded in 1948, IIE is the world’s largest professional society dedicated solely to the support of the industrial engineering profession. IIE is an international, nonprofit association that provides leadership for the development of industrial engineering. IIE provides education, training, certification, technical information and other relevant resources for industrial engineering, plant and facility engineering, operations and maintenance professionals.

  IIESJDVPC is the largest local network dedicated to facility, maintenance, and plant operations professions. Our members advance the field in industrial engineering and in turn improve their careers using the most complete and up to date range of technical information, education, best practices, and sharing of common professional experiences.

  As President of this Chapter, I always enjoy the stream of news that I hear about the accomplishments of our members. You see a lot of these stories in this newsletter or at our plant tours, but there are so many more such as a professional featured in a newspaper, or a volunteer giving a fascinating presentation. This is why we meet monthly and provide a monthly newsletter that promotes an engaging view of the role of the industrial engineering profession in the region.

We announce our programs, provide great articles, assist in career development, and provide guidance for educational opportunities. We welcome your articles and commentary in our newsletter.

  IIESJDVPC is a Gold Award wining Chapter. I invite you to visit this web site regularly and participate in the IIESJDVPC. I also invite you to visit us in person. A perfect opportunity to do so is at one of IIE Plant Tours, IIE Technical Dinner Meetings, IIE Student Outreach Program, or an affiliated IIE University Chapter Event.
