Doctoral Colloquium
The Council of Industrial Engineering Academic Department Heads (CIEADH) and the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) requests nominations for the 9th Annual Doctoral Colloquium to be held Saturday, June 5, 2010, preceding the IIE Annual Conference and Expo in Cancún, Mexico.
This all-day event is designed for doctoral candidates expecting to graduate by spring of 2011. Panels of experts will lead discussions on various topics of interest, including the job search, life in academia and industry, the tenure process, teaching, research, and professional service.

New Faculty Colloquium
The Council of Industrial Engineering Academic Department Heads (CIEADH) and the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) requests nominations for the 8th Annual New Faculty Colloquium to be held Saturday, June 5, 2010, preceding the IIE Annual Conference and Expo in Cancún, Mexico.
This all-day event is designed for new faculty, specifically junior faculty within their first three years on a tenure track Assistant Professor appointment, to provide information that can be useful for successfully navigating the challenges of an academic career and gaining tenure and promotion. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions, network with peers, and interact with senior-level professors.
