Participant comment about Larry Aft, P.E., IIE director of continuing education and program development, who teaches many of IIE's courses.
"I have to say that we have had overwhelmingly positive feedback on your delivery skills and content. As an adult educator for over 20 years and a student in your class, I can honestly say you are the best I have ever seen to teach this type of material. Stats often has a stigma that shuts the learner down at the gate – you engaged us in a way that made this material understandable and relevant by finessing the complexity using real time cases. Excellent work!"

Continuing Education Units (CEU) and Professional Development Hours (PDH):
IIE seminars, workshops and conferences qualify and offer both CEU and PDH credit. According to the National Society of Professional Engineers, one acceptable activity to earn PDHs/CEUs is to attend continuing education courses. One CEU= 10 PDHs.
1 day seminar/conference/workshop granting .65 CEUs = 6.5 PDHs
1.5 day seminar/conference/workshop granting 1 CEU = 10 PDHs
2 day seminar/conference/workshop granting 1.3 CEUs = 13 PDHs
3 day seminar/conference/workshop granting 1.8 CEUs = 18 PDHs
Please refer to your state's requirements. Some states require pre-approval of PDH.
