Healthcare ergonomics needed sooner, not later

“Oh my aching back,” I moaned, after attempting to cram several home projects into a few free hours. My need for rest and recuperation soon overcame my enthusiasm. I had edged myself into the throes of that malady well-known to ergo-savvy colleagues: overexertion. Ergonomic factors are everywhere, even home projects. Fortunately, this did not affect anyone other than me, which isn’t the case in healthcare.
