Walking, not running, toward new help
Industrialists remain cautious but expect to hire more in 2014
Analysts, researchers and recent reports reveal that manufacturers plan on hiring more workers next year, but don’t expect an oft-predicted U.S. industrial renaissance. According to surveys from a third-quarter manufacturing barometer report from PwC, 85 percent of U.S. industrial production manufacturers have hiring plans, with 55 percent of them calling hiring talent a "major initiative."
