Global supply chains are here to stay
I am surprised that a number of publications focus on the “death” of the global supply chain. Some take the perspective that U.S. labor costs are lower than China’s. Others contend that fuel costs are too high to make global trade cost-effective. And others say long shipping times from Asia to the U.S. hamper a company’s agility.
