Performance by Kevin McManus
Industrial Engineer’s monthly column about performance improvement (December 2012)

Where could I go wrong? The easy way was to buy kits for our deck and building, but I thought I would learn more by doing it myself. The same twisted logic had me mix one and a half tons of concrete for the pier posts and dig the holes – as if I needed additional evidence that I was older than 50.
