Sharpening the saw

While preparing for this month’s column, I heard the sad news that Stephen Covey died from complications of a biking accident. My thoughts went immediately to his family and their personal loss. I then glanced over to my bookshelf, which holds several titles from him about leadership, and felt a bit of loss myself, for I have used his research to make a difference in my personal and professional life.
