Moving from A to B
A client requested a software evaluation to enhance a complex process. After reviewing requirements and searching for available titles, we suggested that the client simply transform its process rather than buy new software. Our recommendation would reduce the effort required to perform the process by a factor of 100 or more and yield a higher quality result. The cost of implementation was effectively zero. The result? Management listened politely and delayed the project.
