Incubators propel clean energy forward
The Pew Charitable Trusts reported that worldwide investment and finance in clean energy reached $263 billion last year, a 6.5 percent increase over 2010. Even more impressive, the U.S. has overtaken China as the center of clean energy investment, attracting more than $48 billion in investor capital into the categories of wind, solar, biofuels, efficiency and low-carbon tech/service and other renewables.
