Incentive compensation

A client recently reviewed its incentive compensation system in light of regulatory changes. Its original plan called for various bonuses for all staff members that were tied closely to the financial and operational performance of the company in addition to customer satisfaction metrics. Changes in federal regulations prohibited this practice for certain types of associates.
