Lean Six Sigma and the city

Many people can argue that community pride begins with its leadership. But city leaders in Irving, Texas, may argue that it takes more than pride to lead. In fact, they could say a community also should have strategy, vision and a desire to be the best.

City Manager Tommy Gonzalez said that thanks to his local government’s lean Six Sigma operating model, Irving achieves all three.
