Intolerable failures
One challenge that comes with living in the second half of one’s life is that you must become more accustomed to accepting failures. This is hard for me – in addition to being at least a bit of a perfectionist, I have continuous improvement on the brain. Just 10 years ago, I would have viewed my slower road racing results, poorer quality of sleep and other changes as failures.
