The Engineering Management track at the 2013 ISERC was a grand success. We want to thank all the authors and speakers who contributed to an extremely strong EM track through your outstanding research and application of engineering management techniques in the academia and industry. Over the course of the three days, we had 96 presentations spread across 33 sessions, making it one of the largest tracks this year.
Our featured speaker was Dr. Earll Murman from MIT, who shared his experiences through a fascinating talk on "LAI Lean Academy Experience: Introductory Lean Six Sigma Curriculum." On behalf of SEMS, we like to thank Dr. Murman for his time sharing his valuable insights with us.
We also would like to extend a special thank you to the session chairs – all of you ultimately help run each of our sessions smoothly. We look forward to your services next year also.
Based on the feedback we have received to date, we are very pleased that the EM program offered a breadth of knowledge sharing and networking opportunities this year, and we look forward to seeing you in Montreal next year! As we begin planning next year’s program, we will be in touch with due dates of abstracts and we are confident next year will be an even more stellar program.
