The Reading Chapter of the Institute of Industrial
Engineers has developed a scholarship fund from which $250 will be awarded, annually, to
a student meeting the award's
qualifications.
To be awarded the scholarship, the qualified applicant
must:

Be a permanent resident of either Berks or Schuylkill County, or
Adamstown and Pottstown, PA.
·
Be enrolled, either as a full-time undergraduate or graduate
student, in an engineering curriculum at an accredited college / university,
for the upcoming academic year.
·
Display high academic ability (Minimum of 3.0 overall Grade
Point Average out of 4.0) and campus leadership.
·
Complete our Scholarship Application Form. (Link provided
below).
·
Submit a brief essay outlining your need for the award and how
you plan to utilize the funds.
The final deadline for submittal of the Application is
the second Saturday of March of the Award year. The Scholarships will be
awarded in May of the Award year.
