WELCOME to IIE Chattanooga Chapter! This site serves to provide information about our chapter and activities. The purpose of our chapter is to increase the awareness of the IE profession and to provide opportunities to serve the community. In order to accomplish that, our chapter provides a platform to learn and explore, build networking, and foster communications that will benefit ourselves, our companies, our community, and our profession.
Industrial engineering is the application of engineering methods and the principles of scientific management to the design, improvement, and installation of integrated systems of people, materials, information equipment and energy.
