Board Meeting Minutes
September 2, 1998
 The monthly Board of Directors meeting was held at the Bellevue Regional Library, Room 6, on September 2, 1998. The meeting came to order at 6:40PM.

OLD BUSINESS: [Top of page]
- The minutes of the August 5, 1998 board meeting were approved as written.
- Scott Cherry solicited the meeting attendees to submit articles for the upcoming newsletter. Kristian Luttrell agreed to submit a president's message for the next newsletter and to provide similar content for the chapter's web site.
- Scott Cherry reported that the 1998-1999 Chapter Activity Report Plan was submitted to Bill Kluck, Region 10 Vice President on August 31, 1998.
- Kristian Luttrell reported that despite the downpour of rain the August 16 Barbecue at Gene Coulon Park in Renton was a success. Approximately (12) people were in attendance. The board members who attended enjoyed their time, and agreed to help organize future social events. The group further approved Kristian's recommendation to hold a billiards party at Jillian's for sometime in December.
NEW BUSINESS: [Top of page]
- Eydie Kooiman and Kristian Luttrell agreed to setup a speaker topics presentation on Simulation Modeling for November.
- Steve Snelling reminded the group that the local chapter of ASQC is sponsoring speaker topics presentation on personal productivity entitled "7 Good Habits in 70 Minutes" hosted by Marie Smith. Anyone wishing to attend may contact Steve after the meeting for program details.
- Steve Snelling announced that he was in possession of three (3) free tickets for anyone who would be interested in attending the Everett Boeing Facility Open House and Plant Tour scheduled for Sunday September 13.
- Steve Snelling and Kristian Luttrell agreed to setup some type of plant tour for the February program. Steve suggested that he might be able to setup another tour of the Tramco Aircraft Maintenance Facility as had been hosted in the past couple of years.
- Steve Snelling asked Scott Cherry to prepare a handout of his analysis of the Annual Chapter Survey for additional discussion at a forthcoming board meeting.
- The next board meeting is scheduled for October 7 at 6:30 PM at the Bellevue Regional Public Library.
Without further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:25 PM.
