NEW BUSINESS: We welcomed new member Shoeb Nadni, who transferred in from the Wisconsin Chapter. The security of our website was discussed, and it was decided that we will password protect our membership file. Joel wants a copy of the monthly Membership Summary to be emailed to him at his Boeing address.
Eydie requested changes to her IIE email accounts. Andrew will transfer the Newsletter Editor responsibilities to TOM MOREL of the UW chapter in time for the publication of a November issue. Bill will contact PINNACLE about converting their newsletter advertisement to a FREE website ad.
Nasrin will transfer the IIE Award packet from paper to digital and email to Bill for inclusion on the website. Bill will complete the Chapter Activity Report and send to the Region VP (with imput from Joel and a copy of last years report.
Andrew reported on the UW Mentor Program; he will work with Steve Snelling (Mentor Coordintor) to develop a program between the University and Senior chapters. Eydie reported on problems with our signature on our bank account (she is working the problem), and she will verify with IIE National that we are current with our receivables for the past 2 years.
Bill reported that nominations for Region Vice-President are due 9/15, and IIE Award nominations are due 11/17.
OLD BUSINESS: The membership directory is complete. Bill reported that we are still without a Secretary or Program Director (Bill will fill in as time allows).
VOTES: Bill motioned to have an online survey developed for a budget of $350. The motion was seconded and approved unanimously. Bill hopes to have the survey online by October.
