The Puget Sound Engineering Council (PSEC) exists to increase public
awareness and appreciation of engineering, science and technology. PSEC is made
up over 20 local engineering societies that pool their resources for certain
joint activities and share information on general engineering issues, including
professional registration. PSEC organizes an Annual Engineering Fair in a local
shopping mall to provide exposure to K-x12 students and the general public of
the many benefits that the engineering sciences bring to our daily lives. PSEC
also honors outstanding engineers annually at an Awards Banquet. PSEC provides
Mentoring to engineering students, and provides educators with opportunities and
resources for their students to learn and participate in engineering, science
and technology.
