Industry Liaison

	Develop and maintain an Industry Database of manufacturers and operations businesses in the Puget Sound area.
	Prepare an annual informational nailing to local industries about the chapter and industrial engineers in general.
	Match our chapter's membership against possible employers in the Puget Sound.
	Invite industry leaders to special chapter events.
	Visit selected companies to encourage employment of IE's (tie in with Career Services listings in the newsletter).

PSEC Representative

	Attend PSEC (Puget Sound Engineering Council) meetings, representing the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
	Vote on all PSEC activities.
	Inform Chapter officers & Board members of significant PSEC activities.
	See that PSEC dues are paid.
	Write selected PSEC articles for chapter newsletter, advertising Engineers Awards Banquet, Engineers Fair, and National Engineer's Week.
	Coordinate Engineer's Week activities for chapter, including assisting the Engineer's Fair Coordinator.

Student Chapter Liaison

	Support the University of Washington’s Student Chapter as the Senior Chapter representative.
	Attend selective Student Chapter meetings and events.
	Coordinate with the Student Chapter's faculty advisor and other professors.
	Encourage Student Chapter members to attend Senior Chapter events. Provide event announcements to Student Chapter.
	Encourage graduating Student Chapter members to join the Senior Chapter upon graduation with a prepared mailing.

Student Chapter Representative

	Coordinate with the Senior chapter on newsletter responsibilities (a contract exists with the Student Chapter for labeling, and mass mailing of Senior Chapter's newsletter).
	Attend Senior Chapter Board meetings and report status of newsletter and other Student Chapter activities.
	Communicate relevant Senior Chapter activities to Student Chapter members.
