President's Message As your IIE Puget Sound Chapter President, I would like to welcome all of our members and friends. Opportunities for all of us to bring excitement and enthusiasm to our local community as well as our chapter are all around us. We had worked on trying to accomplish the best for our chapter and add value to our members. However, to continue our success we need your support and involvement. This will enable us to align our goals and resources to meet all of our expectations. In May of 2007, our chapter received the Silver Award during the IIE National Conference. The Silver Award recognizes achievement and successful programs. These included participating in the PSEC Future Cities competition, educating children (of all ages) during National Engineers Week at the Museum of Flight, and co-hosting the first IIE/APICS event where Kevin McManus from Great Systems! presented. We look forward to continue being one of the best chapters in the Western Region and leaders in the value we bring to our members. With your efforts and participation, you can help to continue our growth and success. Our number one priority is to meet our community's needs and to exceed their expectations.
